My pretties! Today a quick post to show you the infinite combinations that this yellow midi skirt has. And I say infinite, because you can combine it with a crop top and heels or ugly shoes for a more festive look; or with a silk or chiffon blouse, with or without sleeves, and stilettos, for a more lady version; or, as is my case, for an working outfit.
It is not really a common working outfit, but in my opinion it’s a very funny option for a casual Friday. As I say, the star garment of the look is the yellow midi skirt, a very subtle yellow 😂 As I want to play and give it a more childish touch I have combined it with a shirt of the girls section. It has 3 large pom poms that simulate 3 scoops of ice cream in a tub, very American. When I saw it in the children’s section I couldn’t resist! As now the girls are so tall, size 13 to 14 suits me quite well.
And as there are few things that I like more than a midi skirt with ballerinas or slippers, because of that the outfit is made up of this pair of ice-colored ballerinas with rhinestones, which give a less casual and more serious touch to the look.
In order not to charge the outfit, I finish it with a “cat eye” style sunglasses and a yellow bag, although it is not as “canary yellow “as the skirt. And, continuing with the maximum of “less is more”, I only wear a very retro white watch, to give it a slight “80´s” touch.
As I say, I think fashion serves to play, to have fun, to try new combinations, to risk … So that every day we dress according to our mood, our desire, our essence. In short, to transmit and transmit ourselves. Happy middle of the week my pretties !!
